Homemade Pumpkin Puree

Ingredients

  • 1 sugar pumpkin around 1 kg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400° F).

  2. Cut the pumpkin in half and scoop the pumpkin seeds out (you may want to store them and roast them instead of throwing them).

  3. Put the pumpkin flesh down on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until it is soft.

  4. Let the pumpkin cool then remove the skin an pop the pumpkin into a food processor and blend until it becomes creamy.

  5. You can use pumpkin puree in many recipes, things like Pumpkin chocolate muffins.
