Preheat oven to 200°C (400° F).
Cut the pumpkin in half and scoop the pumpkin seeds out (you may want to store them and roast them instead of throwing them).
Put the pumpkin flesh down on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until it is soft.
Let the pumpkin cool then remove the skin an pop the pumpkin into a food processor and blend until it becomes creamy.
You can use pumpkin puree in many recipes, things like Pumpkin chocolate muffins.
