SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red onion diced
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 250 minced beef
  • 250 thin spaguetti
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp curry
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • Chopped parsley
  • Parmesan cheese or any kind

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion, shredded carrot, diced red bell pepper, cover with a lid and leave for 10-15 minutes until it's almost cooked.
  2. Add ground beef, chopped parsley, sea salt, ground black pepper, ground ginger, cumin, curry, cover and leave until it's cooked. Meanwhile heat olive oil in another skillet, add tomatoes cut in half and grated, ground black pepper, salt, ground ginger, ground red pepper, cover and leave for 15-20 minutes. 
  3. Combine tomato sauce with ground beef.
  4. Cook the spaghetti following packet directions then drain well.
  5. Pour the spaghetti into a dish, add the sauce, the grated cheese and the extra parsley.
