PAN-FRIED SARDINES

Ingredients

  • 500 gr fresh sardine, cleaned and deboned
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Coriander, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/3 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped coriander, salt, cumin, garlic, ground black pepper, ground red pepper, ground ginger with 1 tsp olive oil. Then fill the inside of the sardines with this mixture.
  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, place the sardines in the pan and cook each side for about 5 minutes.
  3. Put the sardines on a plate and squeeze some lemon juice on top.
